SEDL Begins New Project on VR and Autism Spectrum Disorders
SEDL's Disability Research to Practice program has received funding from NIDRR to conduct research and dissemination on VR service models for individuals with autism. SEDL is partnering with the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at the University of Central Florida (UCF CARD) on the five-year project. The project focuses on improving vocational rehabilitation and transition services for persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The research and dissemination team consists of John D. Westbrook, PhD, Chad Nye, PhD, Karen Wesley, and John Middleton. The project team is skilled in research design, management, systematic reviews, qualitative analysis, and accessible Web technology.
